the invitations.
Schedule
the wedding rehearsal and firm up details of any rehearsal party
that is planned.
Order
wedding rings and arrange for engraving.
Shop
for gifts for each other and attendants.
Meet
with the florist to decide on flowers.
Handle
financial, insurance and legal details; opening joint bank accounts,
writing wills, changing beneficiaries on insurance policies.
If you plan on having a prenuptial agreement, now's the time
to draw it up if you'll be changing your name, make arrangements
to change social security, bank accounts and credit cards accordingly.
Reserve
equipment such as glasses, tables, tablecloths, chairs or tents
if you will need to rent them.
Review
ceremony with the clergyman or judge who'll marry you.
(This is the time to settle on special readings or changes in
the standard text.)
Schedule
an appointment for a trial "do" with your hairdresser
and makeup expert so you can settle on a hairstyle and makeup
look before the big day. (Take your headpiece!)
Book
ahead for a hairstyling and manicure near the wedding date.
Make
arrangements for silk flowers and/or balloons if necessary.
Order
any specialty items-such as imprinted napkins or matches-for
the wedding.
